We conduct daily landings on spectacular beaches, venture close to majestic glaciers, and sail up to 80 degrees north. In just a few days, you'll experience an extraordinary array of sights and sounds.
A historic ship
The MS Nordstjernen, named after the North Star or Stella Polaris, has long guided seafarers home and aided Viking navigation through the north. Constructed in 1956 for the Coastal Voyage fleet, she was extensively modernized in 2000 for exclusive Arctic sailings. Today, she carries adventurers through the waters around Spitsbergen. Despite modernization, she retains the charm of an old Atlantic ship, beautifully restored to her former glory with polished brass, classic wooden interiors, and all her original art. On deck, you'll experience the pristine nature of the Polar Arctic up close. With much of the deck space covered, you can enjoy the outdoors even in inclement weather.
