Located in the wilderness of Adventdalen, Willem’s Cabin offers an intimate and exclusive Arctic escape at Camp Barentz. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and freely roaming reindeer, disconnect from civilisation and immerse yourselves in the raw natural beauty of Svalbard. It’s also here, away from the lights of Longyearbyen, that we have one of the best locations to hopefully experience the magic and awe of the Northern Lights, during the Polar Night (Dark Season).
Hosted by a dedicated guide, the experience weaves together storytelling and history to bring Svalbard to life. With space for up to 14 guests, the cabin is perfectly suited for private gatherings, special occasions, or meetings in a truly memorable setting.

The Menu and Dining Experience
During your time at Willem’s Cabin, a private chef will create a refined dining experience built around exceptional local Arctic ingredients. Featuring delicacies such as seal, cod from Isfjorden, and reindeer from Nordenskiöld Land, the menu is thoughtfully prepared to highlight both flavour and origin. To enhance each course, the chef and sommelier carefully compose wine pairings with each plate.
Throughout the evening, guests are guided through the journey of the ingredients - from wilderness to plate - creating a deeper connection to the landscape and traditions of Svalbard, in an experience that is both exclusive and genuinely authentic.
