Radisson Blu Polar Hotel
Set against the iconic Hiortfjellet, Radisson Blu Polar Hotel offers a welcoming stay in central Longyearbyen. With comfortable rooms and suites for up to 150 guests, it’s ideal for business and group stays. Enjoy modern meeting facilities, a restaurant and pub, plus sauna and jacuzzi for relaxation. The hotel features three meeting rooms—one in the main building and two in the nearby Polarsenteret.

The board room at Funken
A historic room for up to 10 pax, perfect for board meetings or intimate dinners. Once the meeting room for Store Norske’s directors, this space remains relatively unchanged, with original character and portraits of past and current managing directors as a reminder of its mining‑era history.
Movie Theatre at Huset
An historic and beautiful venue for up to 400 pax (60-120 pax for round tables and 180 pax for long tables). Perfect for conferences, lectures, larger dinner events, weddings and movie screenings.
Andrésalen A + B at Radisson
Two modern and flexible meeting rooms for up to 100 pax when joined together. Separately, they can accommodate approximately 60 and 26 pax.
The red room at Funken
A historical and elegant meeting room for up to 8 pax with panoramic views over Longyearbyen. Once a meeting place for Svalbard’s early explorers and pioneers, the Red Roo, with its fantastic view over Longyearbyen, is the perfect setting to spark creativity.

Two modern and flexible meeting space that can be adjoined with capacity up to 100 pax. Formats including theater, classroom, U-shape and boardroom.
Amundsen at Radisson
Spacious meetingrom at Radisson (Polarsenteret) with full technical equipment, coffee/tea service, and flexible seating arrangements. Capacity up to 48 pax in theater format.
Willem's Cabin
Our most exclusive cabin at Camp Barentz, and excellent venue for small and intimate gatherings, board meetings and celebrations for up to 16 pax. Monitor available. Can be combined with an exclusive private chef experience or catered lunch from Svalbard Catering.
Class Room at Huset
Upstairs at Huset, the space is split into four rooms connected with a lobby and bar. Full technical equipment, coffee/tea service, and flexible seating arrangements. Capacity for each room is up to 12 pax.
Johansen at Radisson
Intimate meeting room located in Polarsenteret at Radisson with capacity approx. 20 pax. Includes Wi-Fi, monitor, digital conferencing system and coffee/tea service.
Funken Wine Cellar
Tucked away in the historic walls of Funken Lodge lies a wine cellar steeped in character and charm. The cellar fitting up to 10 pax is mainly used for bespoke private wine tastings but can also serve as a private dining or meeting area for VIP guests.
Juva Cabin
Need an ultra-focused and offline workshop far from civilization? Get a whole cabin for yourself for up to 10 pax in four bedrooms. It is only accessible by snowmobile or dog sled. We customize the trip and program to your needs.
Barentz Hus
Camp Barentz boasts an amazing location right below Mine 7, at the foot of the mountain Breinosa, 15 minutes outside of town with capacity up to 30 pax. Perfect for events, celebrations and wilderness evenings. Screens are available.

We can also add special touches to the tour - perhaps a drinks reception on a glacier or overlooking the walrus beach aboard our speedboat. Throughout the year, this Arctic wonderland transforms into a playground of possibilities, from hiking under the midnight sun, snowmobiling through white silence, or setting sail across the majestic fjords.

Practical information
On some occasions, your team might need a little bit more than our usual and excellent level of service. This is why we offer coordinator services for larger groups. This option lets you hire a knowledgeable member of our team to be your own personal contact point during your stay. This person will be your group’s liaison in relation to all the activity providers, transport services, venues and more.
The coordinator will meet the group on landing, provide programs for the stay when desired and explain important safety information and provide general information to your group. During your stay, the coordinator can assist you with program adjustments and local issues.
For groups of 15 or more we offer complete meeting packages with meeting room, equipment, coffee buffet, fruit, catering of "Brainfood" and a two-course lunch with coffee in the hotel’s restaurant.
For groups of less than 15 we can also offer a room only rental price, with additional services booked separately.
Half day room rental: Meeting room with projector and standard conference equipment.
Full day room rental: Meeting room with projector and standard conference equipment.
Meeting rooms can also be booked for the storage of luggage or equipment. Equipment to host hybride meetings can also be booked for an additional fee.
Snowmobile tours: Hurtigruten Svalbard can run snowmobile tours with more than 100 snowmobiles; however the participants will be split into smaller groups. There will be 30 minutes space between each departure.
Ice caving: For groups of more than 15 people the transport to the ice cave will be split into two groups with one hour between each group. The tour duration for each participant will be 2 hours, and the total duration for the whole group will be 3 hours.
Isfjord safaris: Each Polarcirkel boat can take up to 11 passengers. Hurtigruten Svalbard has 4 Polarcirkel boats, meaning that the maximum per tour is 44 people.
Hybrid electric catamaran: MS Bard can be chartered for larger groups up to 146 passengers.
High speed hybrid boat: Kvitbjørn is our high speed hybrid electric boat, designed to operate in the Arctic climate. The maximum capacity is 12 passengers.
Arctic wilderness evening: The maximum capacity for this venue is 550 people. We can arrange for three different seating areas:
Barentz Hus (30 people)
Gammen (70 people)
Lavvo (350 people)
Cultural and historical introduction to Longyearbyen: This tour takes place by bus and includes 1 hour pan-oramic sightseeing and a visit to Svalbard Museum. Groups of over approximately 50 people will be split between multiple busses.
The catering in our meeting packages in based on produce that promotes even energy levels and better brain function for a more successful meeting. This concept is known as Brainfood and has been developed by the Radisson Blu hotel chain. Specifically, it means more fish, whole grain products, fruits, and vegetables, without compromising on good taste.
The main way to reach Svalbard is by air, with SAS and Norwegian operating regular flights to Longyearbyen. Flights depart from Oslo and Tromsø, with a direct flight from Oslo taking around three hours. Since Svalbard is outside the Schengen Area, make sure to bring a valid passport, regardless of your nationality.
An airport shuttle service operates in connection with all flight arrivals and -departures. It stops at every hotel and guesthouse in Longyearbyen. You can check the shuttle schedule with your hotel reception. Payment can be made in Norwegian kroner (NOK) or by credit card. Taxis are also available when travelling to and from the airport or around Longyearbyen.
