Stay at the world's northernmost full-service hotel
Radisson Blu Polar Hotel Spitsbergen is located right in the center of Longyearbyen, but at the same time close to nature. It is just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the local museums. This is the perfect place to stay for families as well as couples and groups of friends.
In the hotel lobby you can relax in our lounge in front of the fireplace and enjoy a hot drink after a long day of adventure. The hotel also has two restaurants well worth a visit.
Enjoy a three course dinner
Come as you are, straight from an adventure or put on your finest clothes. Regardless of your outfit, you are invited to a three course dinner in the hotel's Restaurant Nansen. The concept centers around Nordic Fusion, with a delightful menu inspired by the Arctic region. You can look forward to a delightful culinary experience in an elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere.
Wildlife and glacier cruise
Included in this package is also a boat tour with the hybrid-electric catamaran MS Bard. Its modern and spacious design gives you the feeling of being at one with nature. This more environmentally friendly boat tour truly allows you to experience the Arctic silence.
The route takes you through magnificent landscapes, to Billefjorden and the wonderful glacier front of Nordenskiöldbreen. The tundra in the autumn has a wonderful colour palette, with contrasting shades of green and yellow. Once in front of the fantastic glacier front, we take plenty of time to enjoy the view. With a bit of luck, wildlife also appears along the way, such as reindeer, seals, and – with extra luck – polar bears. We sail past cultural monuments and historical places, and our guides ensure that you will have an unforgettable experience for all senses.
