How to navigate and download
Click ”Home” in the top menu, then select ”Categories” from the right-side menu. Within categories, you’ll find various options such as snowmobile tours, accommodation, and more. This categorization streamlines your search for specific images, and we’ve also organized content based on different seasons.
To download, simply hover your mouse over the desired image and click the ”+” button to add it to your download list. Alternatively, you can download individual photos by selecting ”Download Asset” on each photo.

Hurtigruten Svalbard Images / Image Library is designed to offer a wide selection of quality photographs, and can only be used in connection with the marketing of Hurtigruten Svalbard and, as a rule, they can only be used by tourist‐trade related enterprises and organizers, and by the press.
The photos can be used in brochures and other publications in which the aim is to promote tourist traffic to Spitsbergen with Hurtigruten Svalbard.
Images must not be used to promote any other area than that from which they derive, or any other tour operator.
The photos cannot be used for commercial purposes such as postcards, T‐shirts and unrelated advertisements.
The use of photos in contravention with these lending conditions will result in you being invoiced for their use at the individual photographers' current rates. The cost will depend on the use and the size of edition. In addition a penalty charge of NOK 10.000,‐ per photo applies.
The images may not be manipulated. The images may only be used once, and the images may not be resold. Copyright must be included in the by‐line and read "Hurtigruten Svalbard/Photographer’s name". Images used online must have the copyright information in the image info as associated text. Copyright info is embedded in the file as metadata.
