Snowmobile tour to Camp Barentz
Driving a snowmobile during the polar night is both exciting and fun! Starry skies and northern lights are not uncommon during this period and is a magical experience. On extra clear days with moonlight, the mountains in Adventdalen light up and you get a feeling of being very small, in a big powerful world.
The destination for the tour is Camp Barentz, located at the foot of the mountain Breinosa, and just below Mine 7. The cabin is designed as a copy of the hut the discoverer of Svalbard, Willem Barentz overwintered on Novaya Semlya in 1596. Here your team will gather around the fire and enjoy delicious reindeer bidos for lunch. After the meal, it's time again to hop on the snowmobile and drive back to town. An exciting experience.
