The restaurant was originally the dining hall for the officials of the mining company, who were to have only the best. Day Cruise on the Fjords
Experience Svalbard's beautiful coastal landscape on a trip aboard MS Bard. This is a ground-breaking catamaran for day cruising, specially built to leave the smallest possible footprint in the vulnerable Arctic nature.
On the trip you can enjoy the mesmerizing glacier front of Nordenskiöldbreen. In addition, we will see the ghost town Pyramiden from a distance, and drive by the bay Skansbukta.
Between June and August, the landscape is colored in contrasting shades of green and yellow. With a little luck, wildlife appears along the way. We might see reindeer, seals, whales and – with some extra luck – polar bears.
