Longyearbyen Pride 2023
This year's Pride Festival is just around the corner! From the 24th to 27th August there will be many events and good vibes only in Longyearbyen. As a proud partner with Longyearbyen Pride, we invite you to participate. Here are some selected events from the program that you won't want to miss.
FRIDAY 25/8
- 18:00 - 22:00 Pride Cruise
Kick off the Pride Festival on a unique evening cruise aboard MS Bard! Here there will be bass, rhythms, fun and a celebration in the name of equality. We sail towards Coles Bay and enjoy the atmosphere, delicious drinks and food in good company. The bar is open, with the possibility of purchasing refreshments and snacks.
Included in the ticket:
- Transfer to/from the harbour and Radisson
- Serving of hot dogs
Vegetarian/vegan options are available on request. Remember to notify us when booking. - Boat trip with guides on board
- All necessary safety equipment
Price: NOK 650,- per person
18 years age limit
Bus transfer at 17:45 from Radisson to the harbour. The boat departs at 18:00.
SATURDAY 26/8
- 17:00 Pride Parade
Welcome to join the Pride Parade! The parade starts at Svalbardhallen, walking down Hilmar Rekstens vei, and ends outside the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel. Here there will be speeches and musical performances.
- 18:00 Pride Party at Barentz Gastropub
After the parade, we celebrate the occasion with a pre-party! Barentz Gastropub offers a good atmosphere and friendly prices for burgers (NOK 145!) and pizza (NOK 135!). Also available in vegetarian versions.
At 23:00 there is a free bus shuttle from Radisson to Huset - and there the party continues!
- 23:30 After Party at Huset
The band Apache comes all the way from Oslo to play for us! Get ready for the ultimate pride party. Afterwards, DJ Janwil takes over the stage!
