May - June

4 hours

Foxfonna is a glacier located at an altitude of about 400 meters right by Mine 7. Here the snow conditions are better than down in the valleys late in the season and is therefore a perfect place for dog sledding.

Fantastic view

On this trip you have an absolutely fantastic view of the Advent valley. If it is sunny, you may want to remember sunscreen.

The guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you out to the dog yard where you will pick up the dogs before the trip continues up the mountain. Here we will park the car and harness the dogs.

Dog sledding with guide

On the trip, the guide will drive the first sledge with two guests who will take turns at steering the sledge. Behind the guide sledge, sledges with two guests apiece will follow. The sledges are being pulled by 5-6 dogs each.

Included

•We provide you with boots, suit, gloves, goggles.
•Pick up and return to your hotel.
•1-1,5 hours of dog driving.
