TRADITIONAL NORWEGIAN "JULEBORD" RESTAURANT NANSEN

Every Friday and Saturday from 29. November until 21st of December, we put up the Scandinavian traditional "julebord" (Norwegian for 'Christmas table').

Have a taste of our magnificent Norwegianp Christmas buffet! May we tempt you with cured trout, dried salted lamb, Christmas brawn, smoked salmon, lamb roll, fermented fish, pickled herring and the classical 'skagenrøre'. And not to talk about the desserts ...

From 29th of November until 30th of December we serve; "The Great Feast" at Funktionærmessen Restaurant. Bon apetite!

STARTER
King Crab Cappuccino: Creamy soup with horseradish foam, dried apple chips glazed with cinnamon, and grilled king crab.

OUR SELECTION OF OUR SHARING DISHES
Herring Plate: Sour cream, red onion, capers and crispy bread.
Variety of Duck: Rillette and salted duck breast, orange and fennel salad, cream of dates.

MAIN COURSE: OUR SELECTION OF GRILLED MEATS, SIDES AND SAUCES
Côte de Boeuf: The ultimate steak! Butcher’s favourite and our signature dish! Sweet & savory, flavourful and delicious!
Country-baked Christmas Rib with Norwegian Christmas sauce.
